Canterbury: mayoralty and St Dunstan's burial reference

The Ickham transcription records John Neame, late of Garrington, who died in 1849 aged 70, and wife Elizabeth, who died in 1857 aged 71; it names four sons and four daughters, noting Austin and George died at Calcutta and John lies at St Dunstan's, Canterbury. The Canterbury council history records G Neame elected mayor in January 1836 and George Neame elected in 1843 and 1851.
